# Trawle developers > Trawle is a job index built from employers' own applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, ...), scanned daily, with closure detection, repost history and days open. This site documents its public JSON API and MCP server. - API base URL: https://trawle.com. No key needed yet; keys are coming soon. - Data refreshes once a day. For a daily new-jobs check, pass the previous response's `nextSince` as `postedSince`. - Filters take ids: resolve names with GET /v1/places, /v1/roles, /v1/companies, /v1/families. - Show "Data by Trawle" with a link, and link each job to its `applyUrl`. Full descriptions are not served. ## Get started - [Trawle for developers](https://developers.trawle.com/index.md): Search open jobs read straight from employers' own applicant tracking systems, checked every day, with closure and repost history. - [Quickstart](https://developers.trawle.com/quickstart.md): Make your first search, build a JobQuery from lookups, and read the results. ## Guides - [Daily new-jobs check for agents](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/daily-new-jobs.md): Run the same search once a day and get only the jobs that are new since the last run, with postedSince and nextSince. - [Building a JobQuery](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/building-a-job-query.md): How the filters in a JobQuery combine, how places match remote jobs, and where ids come from. - [Pagination](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/pagination.md): Page through search results with nextCursor. - [Errors](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/errors.md): Every error has the same shape, with a machine-readable code and a hint about what to do next. - [Freshness and reposts](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/freshness-and-reposts.md): What firstSeenAt, lastSeenAt, openSince, repostCount and closedAt mean, and how Trawle detects closures and reposts. - [Attribution and data policy](https://developers.trawle.com/guides/attribution.md): Show "Data by Trawle" with a link, link to the employer's posting, and don't republish full descriptions. ## MCP - [MCP for agents](https://developers.trawle.com/mcp.md): The hosted Trawle MCP server gives AI assistants tools to search jobs, resolve places and roles, and run a daily job search.
